I've been going back and forth on FB with my idiot cousin's idiot wife about "Mullen to UF". The sense of entitlement of "once a Gator, always a Gator" and "we will double his salary" has been hilarious. I just posted the article from Maroon & White Nation (http://maroonandwhitenation.com/2014/10/14/10-reasons-dan-mullen-will-next-coach-florida/) about it and she about flipped her lid. It was "below the belt" and "everyone demands winning", then countered with "Charlie Strong is on our list too". Really? That's all you got?

The funny thing is that these idiots don't realize that we can double his salary as well. This isn't 1990. The SEC Network welfare check is going to be the death knell to the big programs' dominance.

There's a big difference between a $60 million budget and a $20 million budget (circa 1990s)
There's a difference between a $100 million budget and a $50 million (circa late 2000s)
There's very little difference between a $140 million budget and a $100 million budget (what we are about to be)

Given the option, I'd rather work hard, live in Starkville, MS, win 9-12 games a year and make around 5 million per, then live in freakin' Gainsviile, FL, be surrounded by people who would curse behind my back and give my wife dirty looks in the grocery store on Sundays after I made 7 million that year and won 8 games.

Hell, I'd do it over FL for less than the 5 mill. In a heartbeat.
