I'm hopeful of this too. LF looked strong running the ball Saturday night. If they keep pounding with LF and find a way to get dural the ball, they could be a much improved 2nd half team. They've got talent. Hopefully that talent starts to mature this week. Lsu can really help us with an om or bama upset

If Kentucky could somehow get to 6-2 (and if Vanderbilt could somehow just win 1 game), we could see a combined 7-9 East record. That might be enough to slide ahead of Alabama (who plays Florida and Tennessee). Probably not Auburn, who plays Auburn and South Carolina, but maybe:
6-2 Kentucky
5-3 Georgia
1-7 South Carolina
1-7 Vanderbilt
or something could cause us to win.

Right, Jack, and LSU is not as bad as we and Wartiger made them look. winning in Gainesvulle is a good win and a confidence boost. Wisconsin is a decent team. We just marched max strength to their greatest weakness.

That's really unlikely. It would take around 30 voters who currently have us #1 to switch back to Florida State for them to overtake us. Even if Jameis weren't currently in trouble for, what, the 7th? time, that's just not going to happen.

If Auburn beats Ole Miss and Ole Miss beats state and there is a three way tie with each having one lose the tie breaker would be who beat the highest finished team in the East. If it is Georgia the tie breaker goes to Auburn. If it is KY the tie breaker goes to MSU. Ole Miss would not have a chance as of now due to the fact Tenn and Vandy really don't have a chance.
