Just a thought on the guest picker...

Not to dredge up a dead subject but with all the rumors of the University having reservations on the original guest picker I'm wondering if the original picker was going to be Snoop Dog but given his past legal issues the university didn't like it so they switched over to Papelbon since he was coming into town anyway? Just a theory.

The university didn't have any say so in who was picked. This is coming from a solid source. Espn told us they were in charge of it and they would handle it.

Could have been. I still think they were trying to work it out with Ferrell but couldn't get the schedule to work. My wife said she was glad we actually had someone associated with the school and I agree.
