Has there been any news concerning him? Is he still a student? Will he get another shot at msu football?

I think/hope that ship has sailed. He had several chances & didn't take advantage like Nick James did. I think it's best of both parties stay separated.

Steve addressed this at the start of the semester. He was told that Evans could walk on next semester and try to earn a spot back on the team.

What about Tyler Russell? Has he gotten healthy enough to at least get a tryout with a pro team?

His twitter feed is mostly hunting/fishing stuff these days.

I believe he has plans to transfer to a smaller Georgia school.

Wow. I've certainly not been a quay fan so far, but I'm hopeful that he can get things turned around. I think there will be an opportunity for him next season if he grows up

he's on the right path according to folks in StarkVegas. hopefully it works out for him. it's definitely his last chance to become something special on a football field.

Even if he doesn't become something special, surely it'd be good for him to be on the team and play out his eligibility.

just to stay in school and get his degree would be great.

I questioned the recruitment of Quay while he was still playing at Morton (I said on SPS "million dollar body-ten cent head"), but if Quay has figured out that you have to bust your tail to be your best and do the right things for the team, then I welcome him back.
