Coach, I have been doing this since Bob Tyler days. Watched a Ballard team punt on 3rd down one night. I could name more but, I have waited to hear and sorry I won't hear Jack Crystal say, " you can wrap it up in Maroon and White and The Mississippi State Bulldogs are Number 1 in the Nation".

Me too!! The emotion after the game in the stadium was something I will NEVER forget. The familial bond Mississippi State fans have is like no other in the country.

Just completely unreal, I cannot believe it is happening.

I agree. We will continue to have issues with our kick game, but the other mistakes can be cleaned up. I don't see any reason, at this point, why we won't be a lot better by the end of the season, baring major injuries.

We saw our disaster game today. 4 turnovers including a muffed punt almost in the red zone. We went 35 straight minutes without even scoring. I mean I'm not sure you will see us play a worse game this year and we beat the #2 team in the country by 15 with it.

I had an Alabama fan today tell me that Mississippi State was the best team in the country, and that it wasn't even close. He told me that there was no way Alabama would beat MSU this year.

That experience today was incredible!!! I honestly think I have lost some hearing from this game. My ears are still ringing.

Dan's teams do usually tend to get better as the year goes along. 2012 being the exception.

If we do that- I do think we have a chance to get better- look out. More than anything we have to be more precise and cut out the turnovers and finish the game strong.

And complaining about being precise is a very welcome change and something I am happy to complain about.

We played like sh17 on offense and beat the defending SEC champs by 2 TDs. Holy smokes

This is what I can't get over. We played by far our worst game of the year. 4 turnovers including one on our own 25 yard line on a muffed punt and one in the end zone. Threw a pic off an awful fake punt and gave Auburn more great field position.

We still won by 15. Our defense played out of their minds in those red zone situations and won the game for us. And in the 4th quarter when it was time to make stands, our defense got pressure. Folks were bitching during the game about keeping second teamers in there. You saw why we do that in the 4th quarter. Preston Smith was whipping the hell out of Shon Coleman and our DTs were getting pressure in Marshall's face. Auburn's OL was tired but our DL was pinning their ears back and getting after Auburn.
