Yep I've been looking for 2 tickets for $100 each for my wife and I. We usually go to all the games with family, but the whole family is going so we are looking for 2. All state fans I've asked are selling theirs for around $300 each and on a teacher's salary that just isn't possible.

im just gonna flat out tell ya, there are some good bulldogs on this message board and then there are some that are not. I don't mind telling you that mine are coming from someone on this board and they just simply messaged me and offered them to me for FACE VALUE... Now that's TRUE MAROON!
i will say this, that by the time you factor in donation and ticket price, the true expense is actually closer to 150.00, at least for my seats, so i can see asking that for decent seats....anything above that is just price gouging and you should be ashamed

Y'all need to step back into reality, I was selling it cheap. I certainly didn't whine this much forking over what it takes to get tickets like these from the athletics department. Damn.

I agree with you. Don't see how anybody can say you did something wrong. A lot of people have given themselves lifetime judicial appointments, so I guess they're doing their job when they're judging.

Y'all dig on this. It costs me ~3000 for the "right" to purchase tickets. Then, the ooc games are 50+ each, sec 75ish and AU, Ut higher. Seccg & NC game 3-4x that.
So, effectively, with the less desired games removed, my outlay is about 500-1000 a game.
Should I ask FV?

For the record, I didn't have a problem w the asking price. I just assumed selling one individual ticket for that would be tough. I'm not laying 300 out there for a ticket but if others do, make the money.

After thinking about it, if someone is willing to pay that much then there is nothing wrong with it. I could see $150 for this ticket, huge game. Glad a bulldog got the seat.
I don't really care what you do with your ticket. This is just something I would never do to another good dawg fan

And what if YOU were one of the people who couldn't get a ticket, even though you were willing to pay a nice price? I bet in that case, you'd wish that the prices for tickets would have been a little higher.

So if I am understanding you correctly, you are saying that jacking up the price of a product that is essential to survival in the midst of a natural disaster is equivalent to jacking up the price of a ticket to a sporting event.....that is without a doubt the dumbest argument I have ever heard.
