Had a former professor from our department call me today and share an interesting story. He's in Lubbock now at Texas Tech. He said one of the grad students that he took with him was wearing an MSU shirt in town, and folks stopped him to take a picture with them. Weird, but kind of cool anyway.

I did the same this past summer while in France for work. Ran into Eric Z., Dr. Zach's son, outside of the Louve because he spotted my MSU baseball cap. A couple of months later I was touring the coliseum wearing the same hat when I heard someone yell "Mississippi State!". I turned and saw a guy wearing a yellow polo with a purple emblem and I said "LSU?". He said "Nope", and rolled up his sleeve to reveal a big Ohio State tat. I was pretty impressed that the OSU guy recognized our baseball emblem.
