O.T. Drive from Starkville to Mobile

Have to leave game and drive to Point Clear after the game Saturday. Looks like 45 is the only way, but it includes about 55 miles of 2 lane blacktop in lower bama. Anyone know any shortcuts?

Going to Mobile that is about the best way. I live in Starkville and that is the route I go when we go to Gulf Shores. Now, I do take back roads on the way back to avoid Mobile like the plague. It seems that traffic is always a nightmare around the tunnel going back home. However, if you are going to Mobile and not trying to bypass it then that won't do you much good. 45 is your most direct route with it's two lane goodness.
