All big and bad and tell you "about time you Bulldogs got ranked as high as us"- just remember- there is not a RebelBearShark alive under the age of 56-57 that even remembers them being ranked this high before

Their highest ranking since 1964- and first in football's modern era

This is Ole Miss' highest ranking since desegregation.

They were ranked #4 at some point in '09 but it was a fluke and lasted maybe a week before they lost to South Carolina.

A) it was a BS preseason ranking that didn't last long

B) it's not as high as #3

Agreed on both points.

This is our highest ranking since the start of the human race.

I think someone is missing the point.

I'll just remind them of that time they made the sec championship game, final four, and CWS finals like us....oh wait.

Did you just start walking upright or something? This post wasn't meant to support the OM statement about our ranking.

I don't seem to care much about that school up north and what they say. I don't really know why it doesn't bother me. I think it's because I know they haven't been revelant since I was a kid. There was a couple years when Eli lead a resurgence but other than that, not so much.

But I sure did enjoy that one comment or question about Alabama that I overheard. "Haven't they lost to their last three ranked opponents?"

That one made me giggle a little like a grade school girl. If I said it out loud, I couldn't do it with a straight face.
