I like Mike Bonner's tweets. Would hate for him to be muzzled.

There was a year, maybe in the Veazey era, where VZ had to stop tweeting and blogging from an NCAA regional due to new anti-social media rules from the NCAA.
So everybody tweet cell phone videos from #NCAAStarkville and copy @ncaa on it. Ha.

Just saw a tweet where the NCAA has ban video or audio from press conferences. Maybe that is what you were referring too.

It is the same with game threads. You can only update after each half inning so no play-by-play on game threads or on twitter. Just half-inning updates.

well I have seen several twitter ppl not follow this rule. I have seen some updates after every pitch in a crucial situation. Most namely the @mstatebb account. Not upset at them. I love that they do it for the fans

They clarified the rule and said we can tweet and have normal game threads with updates after each at-bat, just cant update pitch by pitch

wow. talk about stomping on people's first amendment rights. The NCAA may be the most corrupt organization in the country. I have high hopes that the incoming leadership will help clean them up.
