I know its old news but I would like to reiterate some things.

The bears have the biggest day in program history, beating no. 1, the mighty Tide, Gameday in the grove, Wright Thompson commercials about boat shoes on ESPN all week etc.. All of that, and the newest commit (who has yet to surface in a post-commitment interview) finds his way to.........

Alabama was NOT THE NUMBER ONE TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. It was a great win for the Bears and hats off. But how hard is it to understand that:

ALABAMA WAS NOT THE NUMBER ONE IN THE NATION

Because they were in one of the two main polls.

Well, it looks an awful lot like they were number three to me. Again, good win for OM. But let's keep it real. They didn't beat the '85 Bears.

Lewis was supposed to be in Oxford according to DJ on OM's 247 site. I really think Lewis went to the State game because his friends did. Not sure how this all plays out, but usually recruits stick together and Lewis isn't hanging around any OM recruits.

Coaches poll is complete garbage. They always have flaws in their rankings. Example: Arizona is 4-0 and ranked #13 yet Oregon is 4-1 and ranked #11.... yet Oregon's loss is to Arizona.... the shit is completely bias.

Well, you need to inform USA Today.

"No. 11 Ole Miss knocks No. 1 Alabama from unbeaten ranks"

90% of coaches have GAs filling out their poll. Just don't think a lot of head coaches are filling out that poll each week.

I'll take ESPN's ( a sport's network)word for it. LMAO.

There are two primary polls, at least until the committee puts theirs out. The AP poll did not have Alabama #1, the coaches' poll did. Therefore, to say Alabama was a consensus #1 would be incorrect. To say they weren't #1 at all is similarly incorrect.

They were, in fact, #1 in one of the major polls.

Looks like Gabe Campbell on the left there. I haven't been following recrootin this year (though it seems like I should) but I've seen he and Tim Washington at practice.

I'd be willing to bet OM is calling themselves #3 right now. If that's the case, they just beat the #3 team.
