I understand the argument of having an MSU Grad or someone w/ MSU ties but cowbells are our tradition and this would make for great marketing and TV exposure. If we go w/ an MSU grad that may be popular to the MSU fan base but not the country it could possibly get pushed under the rug but ESPN would show the "More Cowbell" skit over and over and it would be great exposure IMO.

I think Papelbon is risky because he has a history of being very erratic.
