I wanted to start a discussion on how to handle our DL tomorrow.

Known facts about AtM offense.
1. They get the ball out quick.
2. They are content on throwing underneath quick strikes, breaking tackles, setting picks on the LB and CB.
3. Their offensive line is pretty big and physical.
4. Their running game is average.
5. The QB doesn't run as well as say USA's qb.

There may be other facts about aTM that I am forgetting but lets just consider these.

The DL and by extension the LB need to be ready to mask their blitzes and get some pressure. Hitting Hill around a little will help us out on the double move plays.
Also, I am sure the DL has been practicing getting their hands up if their block in engaged and they are not going to get there in time.
I would like to see P Smith over center on 3rd downs. Get pressure up the middle. We need the quick first step from all our guys. Dominate the next play mentality.
Stunts may take to long, but we should mix in some moves against their OL.

Anyone have anything else they are thinking about?

Get some stops early while we get some early scores. Then we can go into grind mode running the ball down their throat and hopefully having 6-7 minute drives that end in a score at least half the time. That will eat clock and and limit their possessions while we have the lead.

I remember that Rice/A&M stat that had Rice with four times TOP than A&M but they could never punch it in the end zone. We're not going to have that problem.

In the spirit of just keeping each other informed, some of the OP's info is patently wrong.

4) We are a very good running team. We usually just pass first. In fact, on the season we are averaging 6.1 yards per carry, good enough for 11th in the country behind only Arkansas and Georgia in the SEC. We feature a three headed attack of Brandon and Trey Williams (both 5* guys coming out of high school) and Tra Carson. They are all a bit different in style but they are all VERY effective backs. Brandon Williams has absolutely elite speed and Trey williams is extremely agile (described by Herbsreit as having "Barry Sanders Moves". Tra Carson is the most well rounded of the bunch and has a good bit of power. All that combined with our OL, which is just as good at run blocking as pass blocking, and it is a pretty good rush attack when we utilize it. The interesting thing that we are doing this season is using Cam Clear (our 6'7" TE) in a couple of power running formations. It has been VERY effective thus far.

5) While no Johnny Manziel, Kenny has been VERY mobile this season. He has been averaging 6.2 ypc this season which is FAR better than USA's QB and in fact even better than Dak Prescotts rushing ypc. He has a pretty impressive ability to scramble while keeping his eyes down field. If you watch the South Carolina game, you will see that there were a couple of times where it looked like he was taking off down the field and ended up throwing strikes. He has also had a couple of 50ish+ yard runs this season. He does not use his legs to pick up yards as much as johnny, instead, he uses his legs to extend plays. Every once in a while he will tuck and take off down the field.

Those rushing stats, especially Hill's are greatly inflated by your OOC games. Hill averaged 5 ypc against Arkansas and less than 1 against South Carolina. Saying you're just average running the ball is probably still not fair considering how good the O-line is, but Kenny's 50 yard runs against SMU and the like are pretty irrelevant.

Not arguing with you. But most other teams, at this point, have stats that are inflated by OOC games. You could make the same argument against MSU's offensive stats. Southern Miss, UAB and USA are good teams to inflate stats against. I do not expect us to run the ball with Kenny a lot. But the point is that he can run fairly well.
