Not bc I don't think we can't win, but bc just bc I think we should. We haven't been in these situations much and I hope we live up to the hype. Have we finally turned the corner?

I was more nervous all week before the LSU game because my confidence level wasn't very high. I'm more confident for this game but the nerves are kicking in. Just a little more than 24 hrs left. I'm ready.

The early kickoff will help me immensely. Two weeks ago I was on the verge of a psychotic episode waiting for 6:00. Another good thing about the 11:00 kick. We are guaranteed to not have to watch the end of another game before they cut to ours. One last thing is that the last thing that will be said at Gameday in the woods is enjoy the game at Mississippi State University.

Early win = great day of college football

Early loss= sick all day

To play devil's advocate:
Late loss = nervous all day and then sick all night.

I was the other way around. I was confident and told everyone we'd beat LSU but I still got nervous as hell the closer gameday came. Now, I'm only somewhat confident but not nervous.

one thing to really consider... we are favored.. most everyone is picking us... How many games has dan ever lost that he was supposed to win? not many.. even so I am feeling this....

Stewie pretty much sums me up. I'm not used to all this having expectations.

Fellas, I've been keeping up with MSU football since the late 80's and have older family members who remind me of the prior years. Have been a Dawg from birth and have been to over 100 games in my lifetime (only 31), and I have seen our various teams. We have had some success with some talented teams and have had some of the worst of times during my days of MSU football. But this year, this team has something very different than anything I've ever seen in one of our teams. We have a persona about us that I've never seen. We have a great leader in Dak, who has "IT". The entire group of guys would run through the bricks of Dorman if Dak was leading the charge. They all believe in their abilities as players and a team. We finally have a full team of guys all pulling in the same direction, all fighting for the betterment of the team, over the good for themselves. We've had teams close in the past, but they did not consist of every guy buying into and believing the same things. We have a special group here that will do special things for us on the football field and off of the football field.

I started to see this from our team, during the final stretch last year. There was a different look about them. They all fought together through adversity and came out winners. The end of last season did more than just propel us to a bowl, it gave our guys the experience of willing themselves to victory any way necessary. That's why we won in BR and didn't crumble under pressure. That's why I had no doubt we'd win that game, and that's why I see us taking it to A&M and Auburn these next two weeks and asserting ourselves in the upper echelon of SEC programs.

Let's just enjoy this group of guys. They have and will continue to do special things for us. I will see y'all there tomorrow, bright and early.
