I know there may only be about 5 replies in this thread, but does anyone else besides me believe we would run for about 500 yards on Oregon's defense?

Marriota is a good athlete, but ill take Dak any day of the week

I think Oregon may be only program that benefits from playing late at night when people can't watch them play.

They are too small to compete with an SEC team that has speed and power

Oregon can't pass protect against Arizona. Can you imagine Jones, Smith, and McKinney going after that O-line?

Washington state had 7 sacks against Oregon. Oregons oline makes om's look good

Yet, due to preseason rankings, if they don't lose, they will make the playoff.

Stanford will beat them. Arizona may

It would appear that anyone with a defensive line should beat them

They really aren't very good. I need Arizona +31.5 to complete a teaser tonight. After the first quarter, I think I should be ok... however, the MINN/GB finish had me nervous. Had under 56.5 too and ****ing Zimmer for Minny was taking timeouts with first and goal from 9 with 30 seconds left in a 42-10 game. Luckily, however, GB's defense held.

We'll be there. We're trying to make sure you guys get in with a loss to us

the Pac 12 should just play flag football. This is the most non-physical football game that I can ever imagine a #2 team playing. It's incredibly obvious

Bad call by the ref crew (Both not seeing the tip at the line and then the BS Pass Interference call)

But justice prevails on the next play with a fumble by Mariota.

WOW, Arizona just ran a play that we should implement. A zone read, and pass while the QB is running towards the line of scrimmage. WR was wide open because the CB had to come up to make the tackle.

This kind of crap goes in Oregon's favor every time. Unreal the poor quality of teams in that conference.

I saw it. Good looking play. Bet it would be hard to keep linemen from getting downfield

WOW, ESPN just completely blew off our game in the halftime report, like it didn't exist.

Somehow Nebraska vs Michigan State, Notre Dame vs Stanford, OM vs Bama, and Auburn vs LSU, are all better games.

You mean the pop pass? Yes, we should add that wrinkle to the playbook. It would be killer with the respect the defense has to pay Dak.

Yup, that's it.

I wonder if we have it installed and are just waiting to run it in the right situation

Just turned on the game. Y'all are right. Oregon is about as physical as a team full of field goal kickers.

Oregon is just not looking like a good football team right now. Zero physicality whatsoever.

Another thing to consider- an Oregon loss would hurt Mariota's Heisman chances... With a win this weekend for us and an Oregon loss, could Dak actually be one of, if not THE front runner for the Heisman come Monday morning? Just something to think about.

ETA: And of course as soon as I type this Oregon starts driving.

We would grab Mariotta and Oregon a new one. What a GD disgrace that the SEC has to deal with these overhyped pansy ass football programs. Does the Pac12= no defense?

What is that play Arizona keeps running? Fake the read option, looks like QB keep and then he hits the slot guy for 15+. I've been amazed that it keeps working.

The real question is does the Oregon defensive coordinator get arrested for stealing? He is worth about $30k a year based on what I've seen.

John (Skipper) was at the REC meeting this afternoon, he told me he was going to "purposely neglect Miss. St." from coverage tonight but would likely "make it up" during the GameDay weekend when Miss. St. comes to Bammer....

Oregon's OL injuries finally cost them. They started before the season and have kept growing. Nearly cost them the wazzou game 2 weeks ago and definitely helped cost them tonight.

BS excuses. Their defense is absolutely pitiful and that's what cost them tonight. They shouldn't have been ranked in the top 15.

It's not an excuse, their OL is in pretty rough shape right now. I bet you pointed at our OL injuries when we were disappointing in 2011.

One less Heisman contender to consider, and he was the clear favorite.
