Mario is one of my favorite players of all time. He used to come in the store I worked in college and he was so genuine and took compliments like a gentleman. He impressed me off the field and he was an absolute beast at lb Think he avg like 15 tkls a game or something ridiculous. Then we moved him to DE. Smh

If I remember correctly, the talk at the time was about how the big MLB in teh NFL was going extinct because of the style of offense. Claim was that Haagan was a step slow to play LB in the NFL. I didn't even remember that we had moved him to end, but maybe moving him to end was an attempt to showcase his skills for a more likely pro position.

He playe LB in the pros. I think in a 3-4 scheme with Denver if I'm not mistaken

This is correct. I believe he was in the league for 3-4 seasons but haven't kept up as much as I wouldve liked.
