For me, it's tackling. When teams have an week off, the one part of their game that usually suffers the most is tackling on defense. Because off weeks are utilized to get players healthy and rested, the one thing that coaches usually fail to work on is tackling.

After off weeks, teams that use a timing & rhythm passing game, usually have problems on offense, but out offense is a run first & play action offense. So I don't expect much rust there. Tackling could be the difference maker.

Don't fall behind early. Seems every game of theirs I watch they get up 7-0. If we win toss, get ball and score first

Pressure the A&M QB.
No yards after the catch.
Run the ball well.

1)Make the tackles
2)Worry more about pressure on TRUE FRESHMAN Hill than our secondary. Do the former and the latter will take care of itself. Do the former and the result will be 3 INTs at least one of which goes for 6
3)RTDGF (That's Run the Dadgum Football!)
4)Foot on gas

Do these three things well and we win by 15-25, really well and we win by 26-45

The key to winning this game is eye discipline for our DEs & LBs. Holding outside containment on Hill. Young inexperienced QBs have tendencies when they start to get frazzled, his is he likes going to his right. They purposely implement bootlegs to his left to offset his tendencies. Arky's DL (you could tell) saw this in film study and the DTs used angles against him. He also has a bad habit of lowering his head to get more yds when he runs. BMac will make him pay for it.

57, when do we get to read your pregame speech?

You realize he's a sophomore and played in 4 games last year? Regardless, I agree with that. Pressure him and he will make mistakes. 3-man rushes, we will be exploited.

There is nothing about Collin's personality or coaching style that leads me to believe we will be seeing a ton of 3 man looks. If we do, Preston Smith will be over the center and likely in their back field.

We have to win the shootout. They're going to score some points.

OP has a fine point.

Our receivers are huge/strong and we get the ball to them in space. Miss a tackle and a short-medium gain becomes a TD.

Making us drive the field a chunk at a time increases the opportunity for mistakes.

It's simple: we are the better team. So what do underdogs have to do to upset someone? Force turnovers. If we don't turn the ball over the rest will take care of itself.

Overruled. This is a message board and facts don't always have to be introduced in order to be spoken. Also, I believe you would like to have this attached to anything you say objection to.
