I think we would need Oregon or UCLA to lose this week.

Again, you need to remember that 7 am in LA on a campus that protests having a football team isn't very sexy for Gameday.

#2 Oregon vs #7 UCLA is though.

Not to mention if we got it, that would be 3 straight SEC and back to back in Mississippi

If we beat TAMU, I think anybody who knows nothing about football, could even see that we should be the elite game of the day.

It would actually start at 6 AM on the west coast... That's pretty damn early.

I would rather have us hosting game day depending on us beating Memphis then us beating A & M.

Yet two of the most over rated teams in the country. The media seems to be in love with Oregon and their uniforms.

I think if we win we get it. We are more deserving of it this week since we actually beat a team with a pulse to get our ranking unlike some other institution that shall not be named. But if we beat A&M and jump into the top 10 and Auburn wins to maintain their ranking then you are looking at a top 10 showdown of unbeaten SEC west teams to see who can go 3-0 in the conference. Winner of that game would be a top 5 team and control their destiny for the division championship. Hopefully, we would then be good enough to not be the 11:00AM kickoff and we could let some excitement build on campus for the game.

True, but that show needs passion or its boring. They hate going to the West Coast and have been three straight SEC three times before and three times they've been in the same state two times in a row (South Carolina, Oklahoma and Alabama)

They've been to UCLA one time (1998) and they got booed and protested.

Also, remember that UCLA plays in the Rose Bowl, which is 26 miles away from campus. Good luck getting students to show up that far away before sunrise.
