It's awful. Let these kids have some damn fun. The reason it was put in was to cut out the super excessive/vulgar bullshit of Miami and others back in the 80s. They got the message and stopped. Job done, eliminate the damn rule or at the very least, tell the refs to keep the damn flag in their pocket. Worst penalty in all of football.

Totally agree. I hate that a player can't celebrate a TD or spike the ball. Now I agree they shouldn't taunt the opponent or take it to an extreme, but A celebration shouldn't be looked so sorely upon.

Nailed it. I didn't see what Gurley did that was worth a flag. Hell, he didn't even really spike the ball. Just threw it down a bit emphatically.
