This would require a rule change from the SEC.
When we played at Oregon, they had a rule to allow fans on the field after the game. When the game ended, the clock reset to 15:00 or something. When that clock hit 0:00, fans were allowed on the field. Some players, still in pads, stayed out there to interact with fans. It was a really cool way to savor the game.
Makes too much sense, so you'd think the SEC would never go for it. But with the recent efforts to deliver experiences you can't get at home, they should consider this.
