I was one of those thinking Mullen might have lost it last year, but I definitely didn't think we should just hand the keys to a Top 25 job to Hud. Even more extremely clear now.

Same here. I just figured if Mullen left for whatever reason, Hud would be a logical choice. Well, maybe not. That is certainly a strange turn of events down on the bayou.

If it were me, I would watch them next season and see what happens. It could very well be an anomaly.
