we are now locked into the 9th-10th-11th regional

Our regional should be matched with Oregon, Fla St/NC State, or the Fullerton Regional

No.

Who cares anyway, I remember Oregon State lost like 17-1 to somebody in a Super before winning the whole damn thing. It simply doesn't matter.

I think it was the 2006 CWS.

Miami beat OSU 11-1.

Yet OSU played their way through the loser's bracket & won the whole damn thing.

Regardless, your point still stands.

C34, I would think that based on geographic issues it would either be FSU or NC State.

Short answer is no. And they really shouldn't- you have to have a way to account for "bad days" which are inevitably going to happen to every team at some point in the year. The best and most simple way to do that is just go with a flat won/loss record and then RPI.

they dont really match up regionals for the Super round based on geography- but they do match teams into regionals based on geography

We're gonna be matched against NC State/Fla State, Oregon, or Fullerton- but we should have some locals thrown into our regional for sure
