Connection to the team/program

Just having random thoughts but do you feel that our fan base has a much closer connection to the program than many others. Just knowing all my non-State friends "root" for their teams/universities and everything but I definitely don't see the "investment" like ANY of my State friends.

With others it's almost forced happiness or forced pissed being pissed off (think Ole Miss frat boy crying in the bathroom video) where we genuinely feel it.. Except a growing number of our students who are showing signs of what I see from everyone else... I dunno, just random thoughts.

No, other teams have fans just as passionate.

All schools have great fans. Just the breakdown of good ones vs idiots changes between schools.
