1) Don't kick or punt to them in any way that they can return it.
2) Play totally conservative on the punt return guarding against a fake punt.
3) Double team the good WR (Dural?)
4) If we throw deep over the middle, make it to D Wilson, NOT Lewis.
5) Wear out whoever is guarding Lewis on the short passes
6) Run J Rob 15 times per half
7) Run Dak 7 times per half
8) Tell Dak if he sees ANY daylight, run. don't hesitate...run.
9) Play C Jones and P Smith together

Agree with all of that. Also, limit pre-snap penalties and holding. Our offense works like clockwork in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and short. However, putting ourselves in a hole on first down through penalties really changes things.

2. I would add be conservative on field goals too. I know that we've blocked two this year, but that gives Miles even more of a reason to try a fake.
9. I wouldn't mind adding Nick James too. He is a space eater in the middle that can cause headaches for teams that like to run the ball.

Get the TEs involved early and often. We have a veteran group of TEs that are all physical and can catch. LSU is going to try and stop the run and rely on man coverage with their DBs. That could create some favorable matchups with the TEs.

I like that gameplan. I mentioned it in other thread but my 1a defensive line would be Smith, Jones, James, and Jefferson. Since Bell has shown he can kick the ball throughthe back of the endzone tell him to do that every time and make them drive it 75 yards. As for punts I am not sure how close we have come to having one broken on us. I just don't remember. I think I would start out playing a man coverage with safety help over the top with the excpetion of doubling Dural. See if our front 7 can stop the run on their own. If they can, great. If not, then I guess you have to move at least one safety down to help. But the fact that Dural has 370 yards receiving on 12 catches shows his explosive nature. Can't let him beat us deep. Stop him, stop the run, and get pressure on Jennings.
