I'm sure this has been mentioned in one of the prediction threads below, but we all expect this to be defensive battle with both teams focused on the run and this is both our strengths. With that being said you immediately think how important making FGs will be.
This is a year where we've got everything in place from a talent standpoint on both sides of the ball, but we still have a glaring question mark here. I expect our kickers to be ready and I'm the optimistic type to believe they'll make every kick. But can you imagine the meltdown if we lose this at the wire due to a missed 28 yd FG?
I think we're the only SEC team to have not made one going into this week which can viewed as good and bad. Not sure how many attempts.
Needless to say in this type of game Special teams play a magnified role. They'll be ready hopefully.
