wonderful. hear and slop every damn OOC game to open the season. Dead Indians don't want the Dawgs to look too pretty.

Hopefully we are paying our dues weather-wise in the non-conference for some 70 degree outlooks for SEC play. Sheesh.

BR might be the first optimal weather that our team gets to play in. I like it

Even if it's not, we will be used to playing in shitty conditions. Win-win

Yep. Part of me just wishes that I'd get to go to one game this season where I'm not soaking wet from rain or sweat though. Oh well, still looking forward to my first road game since 2005.

Models show it crossing Florida and coming our way

That's a slightly weird situation there. All depends on whether or not it gets its act together after crossing FL. If not, it might have its energy taken in with a slight trough to the North.

Fun Fact: South Alabama also has a Meteorology program.

Not that I know of. Each of our Meteorology departments head to the others respective symposium. They host SeCAPS (Southeastern Coastal & Atmospheric Processes Symposium) and we host SESSS (Southeast Severe Storms Symposium). Each presents at the others.

Do they play on grass or tough at South Alabama? Also, if it rains that plays into our favor because our strengh is running the ball and stopping the run. Our run game will also wear them down quickly.

Per Wikipedia, the field is a field turf surface.

We've shut out all our opponents in games played in wet conditions this year.

We haven't allowed an offensive TD to any teams that aren't from their respective state capitals over the last 4 games.

Actually 7. UPig is located in Fayetteville, but the game was played in that POS stadium in Little Rock. Hate to be picky but a 7 game streak is better than 4.
We also haven't given up a touchdown on artificial turf this year.

I think the most important stat is this: while we have flirted with disaster a couple of times with Dan at the helm, we have never actually lost a game to one of these weak sisters.

I'm still kind of confused as to why there are State fans who think we will lose this weekend. I guess they are having flashbacks to the Croom years.... idk

The capital of Alabama is Montgomery.
