Unless there is an ironclad prenup that includes spousal abuse, she'll be receiving a ton of money when that happens. Few things say slam dunk court case quite like video evidence.

Or she will say anything that is in her best interests. Whether she has battered woman syndrome, is looking for him to fatten his bank account before they separate, or whether this was an isolated incident that they are moving on from, it does her no good for him to be unemployed. There are plenty of ways to help her or for her to get help other than ensuring that she has financial problems.
