One that I liked that was attributed to him was an exchange during a meet and greet or maybe an autograph session. Some of this I had to paraphrase.

Female fan: Mr. Cristil, I absolutely adore you. I just wish you would quit smoking and drinking. It's horrible for your health.
Jack: Lady, I'll have you know I had an uncle that lived to be 97 years old.
Female fan: Did he smoke and drink?
Jack: No, he minded his own damn business.
