*Seemed like a successful day except for Kicking PATs and Defending the long ball with QB under full protection. If we had done better in the PATs and knocked down 2 long throws, we win 49-20. Sure Bama or LSU may have beat them worse but we have not reached that level quite yet. We played a lot of kids on a hot afternoon in September ( we should never play a 1:00 game in September in MS ). They needed more game experience for backups to prepare for the long haul of the SEC schedule and they accomplished that. Mullen's sub system is different but he is building on what he knows about this team from inside the locker room and the camaraderie that has been apparent since last spring. Happy for the guys that got their chances to play. Good to see Walley catch a couple of balls including a TD. Graham looked good at PR. Lots of good stuff to take from this win. Hopefully Cox and Market injuries are short term.

Enjoy the ride people. Support the 1B kids as they bust their ass when they are in the game. They may not all be ready for prime time yet , they deserve our support in their efforts to be ready. some of you act like the coaching staff is probably taking all this in stride. Bet Collins did not sleep much last night and was working on the defensive breakdowns long before you got up this morning.

any way... offensive stats below looked good except for maybe pass completion %.

Some good points...sure I wish we'd have won 63-10 but it sure beat winnin 29-24 or having to muster a late drive for a victory (which have all happened against UAB).
