So if I'm understanding this correctly, if we beat Texas A&M tonight we won't play again until Saturday in a single elimination game (against Texas A&M, Vandy, or South Carolina).

If we lose to Texas A&M tonight, we will play tomorrow in an elimination game against the Vandy/South Carolina winner.

Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. So obviously winning today is of great benefit. We get to rest on Friday, and we could be eliminated in one game on Saturday. So win or lose we are one game away from being eliminated. No reason to have mixed emotions about us winning today for those who believe a long run will affect our chances to win the Regional.
