Pisses me off....I thought they could decline it and I would have won my bet. But instead, the forward lateral kills the play at that point and the TD doesn't count. So close. Their are a lot of pissed off people out there tonight after that last play.

I, personally, enjoyed seeing the forward pass downfield. I had the Roadrunners and the under.
I'll try to explain the rule.... It's simple football. The play is automatically dead when a ball carrier purposely attempts to throw the ball forward beyond the line of scrimmage. It is not ruled a "fumble", because every last attempt to score, out of desperation, would turn into a rugby scrum. Beep Beep!!!! Road runnahs!!!
