Sigh, after we beat UAB 56-10 on Saturday, South Alabama fans will say they will beat us or play us close the next week. It's going to be hard for a mid major to successfully move the ball on us and much less score because we do the 1A/1B on defense and there is no drop off. Our offense will score as many as Dan wants to. Besides, I didn't know that there were UAB fans. I thought they were either Auburn or Alabama fans that cheered for UAB in their spare time.

Damn right we're cocky....And we should be. They can talk shit about Dak and our history all they want....the bottom line is, we just spanked USM 49-0 and we didn't play first teamers after the first series of the second half. Not only that, we botched two trips inside their 5 yard line in the 1st or 2nd quarter and came away with no points. It could have very easily been 63-0 with our starters playing one half of football.

Sorry Blazers, but we are cocky....and you'll see why Saturday.

What's absolutely comical is they are trying to justify they are much more improved because they whipped Troy, who plays zero defense, and although we destroyed USM, USM isn't a very good opponent. The irony is that we beat Troy 62-7 last year and USM beat UAB 62-27.
