Still no Gray Center added to list but we will be 4th once he's added. Also Greg Pickett is 17 up from 26. Marrero has fallen around 10 spots to 63. But Kale Breaux is listed 500 as do a lot of them which means he really doesn't have a ranking. He was 483 I think. He just made the 18 USA team so he is very good. SO most the batters he faces. He is ranked incorrect. I do think the higher ranked kids are great players but this is not an exact science. Anyway it is good to have a measuring tool of sorts and it improves our image to recruits which leads to hopefully more commits. They all have to show up and compete for a spot.

Damn, if we aren't #1 with this class, I'd like to see who is.

Gray Center? Is this a player that we are on? Don't recognize the name.

Where is Riley on the updated list? Could you also share the top 5 ranked from MS? I have a PG paid account, but not the one where I can see rankings! (I could last year, but PG changed it)

Probably UCLA they have 5 commits on the U18 team, and we have 3

WOW, this is unbelievable. I know they have put guys in the majors and just won a NC, but their facilities are sub par when it comes to others in the SEC. That coach at Vandy must know how to sell ice to an eskimo.

Don't discount the value of an education to baseball kids. Vandy's is actually worth alot more than anyone else's in the conference. Also -- they have near unlimited scholly money for baseball.

50% scholly to Vandy(most kids get more) - worth about $31g per year. Avg job starts at $48,3 and is at $104k by mid-career.
50% scholly to State(most kids get less) - worth about $11g per year. Avg job starts at $41,2 and is at $72,3 by mid-career.
When you sign pro, it's almost always written in that the team you sign with will pay for 4 years at whatever institution has your LOI. Making guys "that know they are going pro" WAY more likely to sign with Vandy for the same reasons.

That's a big ass difference to anyone that opens their eyes and looks at it.

I believe he was 44. Doesn't matter the ranking if he is under 100.

Damn, of the top 10 players in state that are committed to a four year college, we got nine of them... Pretty much a clean sweep.

I would understand if it was UCLA being in Cali and all the nice weather, but Vandy... Must be the smart kids wanting a better education..

With Vandy it's more scholarship money and a more prestigious education.

UCLA has the advantage of location.

Our advantage is being in the SEC with a huge, passionate fan base and a soon to be state of the art stadium. We place an emphasis on baseball, and that means that our players are going to get good coaches and good facilities to work with.
