The last two games has been really good for MSU and Dak.

MSU Stats-
total points for- 93
total Points against- 7
total yards gained- 1,083
total yards allowed- 428

Dak Stats-
35 of 54(64.8) for 567 yards. 7 TD's and 1 INT.
22 rushes for 126 yards and 2 TD's

so that's 694 total yards and 9 total TD's for Dak in the last 2 games .

Honestly, I felt like Dak was fairly pedestrian last night.

However, I think this was by design. If you look back, Dak didn't run the ball very much. I think Dan knew that he didn't need Dak to rush for 100+ to win this game and kept him "in the stable" to protect him and save him for games where we will need him (LSU, TAMU, Auburn, BAMA).

I view these first three games like the NFL preseason. We know we're going to win them, so protect the starters and hold some plays/schemes back so when we get to the "real" games (SEC play), our stars are fresh and we still have some new wrinkles that our opponents haven't seen.
