This week may not be a pushover win. I don't know how bad Troy is this year but UAB had their way with them yesterday. I don't think out current team will overlook games like this, but we can't afford to let them hang around.

UL-Lafayette, South Alabama, then Arkansas St were supposed to be the best Sun belt teams this year . I don't think Troy was picked in projections toward the top of their conference

I watched some of that game. Bill Clark is a good coach. I think they have a couple of transfers from Aroansas on their team including Mardecus (??) Humphrey (who originally signed with Arkansas). Troy lost a lot from last year's team including their bad ass record setting QB so they were a bit down from where they were last year. UAB is a much better rushing team then passing team which goes towards our strength on defense.

Should be a nice marginal step up from the USM game with a similar result. I don't think we will shut out UAB but I think we will score just as much. My prediction is 49-14 or 49-7. Depends on how long we leave our starters in but I think Mullen will be able to name the score again in this game. UAB is definitely improved from their team from last year though.

I agree. No element of surprise like they had against Troy. Looks like their QB runs it a little, so it will be good zone read practice. We will win comfortably

it would be nice for the MSU defense to have another shutout vs UAB.
