Billy bean is labeled as one of (if not) the best GM's in mlb, but he blew it this year. The a's had a 2 game lead and mlb's best record before the cespedes trade. Since the trade, the a's are 12-16 and 4 games back of angels. Angels up 6-0 in 3rd over a's now, so most likely 5 games back and 12-17 since trade.

Will they make a sequel to moneyball about this?
