For Directtv try 620 if it's 611 for the regular SEC Network. It will say SECN2D. I have Charter so this is a guess based on looking it up online. Hope it's helpful.

Direct users try this and see what you get.

Shows me as getting the alternate channel at 611-1. Still don't see it on my TV however. I do show two 611's, one in HD, the other not. I'm hoping it shows up in 10 minutes.

Cheapest thing you can do that I learned was buy something called Chromecast on Amazon for $35. Then, make sure to have the app on your cell phone. Get a buddy's log in info and you can "cast" the game from your phone to your TV in really clear quality and it will not drain your phone battery. This has been great. It's cheaper than using roku, apple tv, etc. This will serve as insurance for when something goes wrong with the dish as we know happens often.

Calm down, everyone. The SEC Network is doing the right thing by having alternate channels so every game can be shown.

If your cable/satellite company doesn't offer the alternate channel, that's not the SEC's fault, but I bet that it does.

Trying to get their website to respond was a joke. Couldn't get passed the zip code. It hung up on provider. I guess they had so many hits, the website over loaded.

The problem was NOT with the SEC Network....it is with your provider..... No problem with UVerse.... regular channel is 1607... alternate 1 is 1608...alternate 2 is 1609.... Direct had not made plans yet for alternates..... don't know about Dish

Dish was working on it so basically they had no back up plan or anything in place of something like this were to happen. Weird deal to have all the weather stuff for multiple games, just glad it was USM and not a game that was in limbo. Besides the fact that I missed most of he 2nd quarter it was salt in the wound for it to cut out in the middle of a play.
