I have pretty much the same thoughts as him. Use Lindgren as a LOOGY.

Plus, him playing with the Yankees and possibly going to the playoffs will benefit Lindgren and the team going forward. Lindgren would have the "unknown" factor on his side as well.

But is idea is to call Lindgren up in September, thus making him ineligible for any potential playoff games.

All they have to do is put him on the 40 man roster by Aug. 31 for him to be eligible.
