The 2012 season had ended in disappointing fashion. Spirits were not too high. And then a construction cam was put on the end of DWS. For the longest time it just showed a muddy quagmire and some heavy equipment pushing that mud around making a seemingly even bigger mess. But slowly things started to change and large amount of concrete started to stretch skyward. As the 2013 season played itself out it started to take more and more shape and towards the end of the season we really started to get a glimpse of what the final product would look like. Now, here we are two days from that new expansion being filled with cowbell ringing fans screaming at the top of their lungs. Who would have thought just 21 months ago what we would have today.
And just think...in another couple of years or so we will be saying the exact same thing regarding our baseball stadium when we without a doubt have a stadium that will only be rivaled by the best MLB stadiums in appearance and amenities.
These are great times to be a Bulldog. We have the facilities. We have the talent to put in those stadiums to bring home something special. Our time is now. Are you ready?
