Gridiron Club this morning sold out of available passes for the season. It was the last of the premium areas to be sold out in the new expansion. There were 22 suites, 1170 club seats, 236 loge seats, and 750 Gridiron passes.

Anyone have an educated guess for the revenue increase generated by the expansion (seats + clubs dues + annual donations). 22 suites = $$, Gridiron = $750k etc.

Gridiron passes were $750 each and when they sent out the e-mail that said more than 70% of them were gone, there were about 250 remaining. So if there were 1000 gridiron passes, that's $750,000.

Club seats were $2,500 for the Loge and $1,100 for the Scoreboard Club. If 2/3 of the 1170 were Scoreboard and remainder were Loge that's $1,833,000.

No idea about the suites. $50,000 each? That's $1,100,000.

Total $3,683,000 not counting revenue from the added seats, of which there were 6,000. I imagine 2k might have gone to the students. 4k at $310 each is another $1.24 million bringing us to pretty much $5 million.

Do you guys know how much you had to donate to Bulldog Club in order to have the opportunity to get a Gridiron pass?

I believe anyone could purchase one. If your seat in the stadium required a donation, that couldn't be counted towards the Gridiron donation but otherwise anything you gave to the BDC could be counted towards it.

For example, if you have two seats in Section 5, which require a donation of $325 each, and you gave $2,000 to the BDC (not counting your ticket price), you could count $1,350 towards the Gridiron passes and give $150 more to get to the $1,500 which is the price for two passes.

But LT and ESpN say you can not afford that, State fans.

Eleven 12 person suites: $370,920
Eleven 18 person suites: $501,380
236 loge seats: $663,160
1170 scoreboard club seats: $1,649,700
750 Gridiron passes: $562,500
4519 "new seats" in sections 18 and 19 - $2,010,955

Total - $5,758,615 in new revenue in seating alone not considering young alumni tickets nor chairback rentals...

750 passes to the gridiron? Seems like that would get pretty crowded. Can anyone that has walked through that area say anything about the size and if it will be crowded? I know it's a come and go idea, but still I know some will be down there in order to enjoy their beverages.

If all 750 members are down there at once, it would be pretty tough to move around. I think at 75% capacity you would have the same problem, but that's not likely to happen. Probably will be at it's peak 30-15 minutes before kick-off.

I have a question about the lockers down there. Does every member get one? I didn't count them at fan day, but it seemed like there were only a couple hundred lockers max.

I think moving people in and out may be an issue. Nobody knows how long folks will hang around after kickoff.

I know not everyone will have a locker for the 1st game. I was told they will have to move more lockers in. Apparently they did not have enough to start with which is poor planning in my opinion.

15,000 sq ft divided by 750 people.... 20 sq ft per person. Of course it won't be that much since restrooms, employee areas, etc are probably included in the total area.

Wouldn't it be a little more adding in the minimum donation requirement that all must pay now for season tickets, depending on section?

One locker per 4 seats.
