Where is the best place to get Highschool scores and box scores online?

I despise the CL, so I do not subscribe. Is there a free site where I can see who won the games last night and maybe a box score or some stats? Just curious how all of the local teams started out

lots of people self report them on maxpreps but it's usually a day old and about as dependable as Wikipedia.
