I've been in it as well. There actually is an echo now. The sound from the south endzone video board, echos off the new north endzone. There were no people in the stands the night I was there, but it was pretty pronounced.

Funny. I could have sworn I heard the north jumbo tron was the same size as our existing one.

Is it actually a smaller screen or is it just because the south video board is closer to the field and maybe has larger framing around it?

That's what I thought. The South endzone board will look bigger though because it is closer to the field, lower, and has a larger frame around it.

Well I've been wrong before and will again but that is one major optical illusion. The north board is sitting higher and farther back. That said, I have a hard time believing the diagonal is the same.
