The only thing that has me a little hesitant to buy is that I'm not sure how well playing our entire second five o-line in the first game of the season would go. If I could have Clausell and Day and second team everyone else, I'd buy.

It's an interesting question. Like THF, I don't know how well 2nd string OLine would hold up. Also, with it being the first game of the season, you're counting on some guys who haven't played significant minutes or possibly at all. Talent-wise, though, we'd be the better team for sure.

We'd have issues at safety. I guess our line would be Carter at LT, Beckwith at LG, Desper at C, Thomas at RG, and Robinson or Warren at RT? I don't think we'd be moving the ball a lot with that line. But everywhere else, I'd feel pretty good about if you ignore stamina issues. If we had to spell our 2nd team with our current 3rd team, I'm not sure what that would look like.

I don't know if USM will really be that bad this year, but I would assume our second team could take last year's USM team by 14.

Buy and I'd buy at +21 points. We are going to skullfu@k USM. It will be ugly. If MSU doesn't put 50+ on them I will be very surprised. USM can tape it up in their locker room or wherever. Don't matter. They can't stop the pounding they're about to take.

I'd say sell too. And if our team has the same
Mindset as those saying buy, we could get in trouble. Yes we out talent them but this is the biggest game they've played in decades. Can you imagine if we couldn't play ole miss for twenty years. How hungry would we be to whoop their ass in that game? We need to be focused. Play good and we will win. Come out flat, turn the ball over a few times, have some special team blunders, etc and we will be in a fight.

It's a buy, on defense you could probably safely go past the 1Bs and still make it happen. Our 3rd guys in a pretty good number of positions would be stars at USM.

Buy in bulk, although the second team OL would have me a hair worried. That said, Damien Robinson would probably be the best OL on USM's team. We'd crush them at every other position. Hell, we flipped D-Will from them and we know how good he looked for a true frosh.

I'm going to sell because I think USM is going to come out fired up, and they would be just as fired up for our second team as they will be for our first. I think that emotion would carry them and level out the talent against our back-ups.

Eventually, that emotion will wear off and our talent on both sides of the ball will take over (referring to our first team).

Honestly I hope we are up by 35 in the first half so that we can get some snaps for our entire 2nd string O line. These first three games are going to be critical for our second units to gain needed experience to make it through the season later on. ESPECIALLY AT CENTER
