SEC Network ch 716 per Comcast

Just spoke to comcast and was told not all of MS customers will get SEC network offered to them. Jackson area has it and it's ch. 716.

I live in CO but already showing on my guide. New SEC Storied airing at 8pm cst. Looks pretty interesting.

I type in 716 (Comcast customer in Jackson), and it automatically redirects to 717 as if 716 doesn't exist. Does your tv show a 716 channel?

I called from work. The customer service rep said 716. It may not even show up until 5pm. I don't know, but I'm a little pissed at the way Comcast is handling this whole thing!

Fishwater, have you tried to see if the channel is available? I have also tried 400, and it automatically skips to 401 for me.

In TTown, it's showing up already as 1738 (XFINITY).

As expected, Comcast failed. My family lives 8 miles away in Jackson city limits, and theirs works. I live in Flowood and it's not working. It's frustrating, but can't say I'm surprised. Anyone else having any issues with Comcast and SEC Network?

I've got Comcast and I am getting it. Nothing on Comcast web site, so I have no idea if this is part of the package I have or not.

Comcast is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. Switch to U-verse. You'll thank me.

Got home late and turned on the SECN. Message says it should be available shortly. I've been on hold with Comcast for 30 minutes now and still have the same message and haven't gotten anyone on the line at Comcast. The poor bastard that takes my call is gonna get blasted! Comcast has got to be one of the worst companies in the USA.

I heard the SEC Network has not been available in Rankin County on Comcast. Glad I stayed with DTV.
