Seeing all these people posting pics on FB of their guides on tv where the SEC Network is set to record the first show on DVR and Im starting to freak a little over the fact that the SEC Network is still not showing up on my guide.. Whats the deal?

1738 on ComCast. I already have one big beef with the SECN. The Paul Finebaum show is slated for Mon-Fri from 3pm-7pm. 4 hours every week day of that penis. That's horrible!

ive heard both 404 and 408 but neither are showing on my guide yet.

i've tried 1738 on my comcast -- doesn't show up at all yet. Hopefully it shows up soon

According to Dish on Twitter it will be 404 or 408 depending on whether you have the hopper or not. They also said it won't show up on the guide until launch. Amazed that they never considered that SEC fans may possibly want to record the opening show through the guide.

They've really been pushing Finebaum hard through this whole thing. He's kind of the face of the Sec network.
Here's hoping he actually talks about someone other than Alabama and Auburn once in a while since it's not a local show anymore.

Just use the Dish Anywhere app on your phone to set it to record the moment it launches.

I have a SECND (I guess high def?) on ch. 400 w/ my comcast. It says off air.

It's not listed there either, but I will be there at 5 to switch it over.

yea that's what I am gonna have to do... I love that App. It makes trips with my 6 year old so much easier.

It's not showing up on the Dish Anywhere app for me and I won't be home in time to reset it. Any other solutions? I have the Top 120+ and the Multi-sport package so I know I should have access to the channel.

For anyone else wondering, you can apparently reset your receiver from the Dish Anywhere app. Trying to see if it gives me the channel now so I can record whatever I'll be missing,.

I did the reset and it's showing up on channel 145. Nothing at 404 or 408 yet.
