I missed the VB check, but did notice a blue film covering the video ribbon boards on the West Side upper facade earlier today. Did we get new ribbon boards also? I wish we had the construction cam where we could go back.

BTW just about every other OxBlue construction cam allows you to go back in feed, do a time lapse loop, and do minor zoom/pan in real time. Wonder why we have the 90's plug in webcam style when we just spend over $100 mil?

Also, does anyone know if they will leave the cam up and online after construction is complete? As much as I, and many others have looked at this one, it would be nice to be able to look at the stadium any time, and possibly from multiple cameras. This goes for other parts of campus as well. I remember the Junction Cam a few years back from the Barnes and Noble. I would look at that thing a few times a day just to get a break from work. Maybe we can let Strick know that we enjoy these Venue and Campus cams and he will keep them and implement more. It's a way for us to remotely stay in touch with what is going on, on campus, and keep more of a sense of being connected.

If these thoughts and requests are ridiculous then let me know, but I feel like most of us here would like to be able to log in and see what's going on around the sports venues and campus to get a break form our everyday tasks and lives.

The cam from Barnes and Noble is live. MSU Meteorology uses it for one of the forecast graphics. I'll try to see if I can find the live feed.

Cool thanks. Why cant we have these looking at the main points of campus we alumni are interested in? I'd like to be able to look in each open air stadium at any time just to see what's going on. It's not very difficult to set up live web cams. Like I said previously, they could incorporate this into some courses in computer the science department.

Meteorology used to have a cam set up above Hilbun looking North. It was convenient for watching Suttle get torn down.
