Hopefully we will enjoy this season. College sports are about to drastically change.

I actually think tier two colleges could greatly benefit from this. Those schools could remain the "amateur" leagues while the power five become a minor league for the NFL... as if it wasn't already that way.

also, the NCAA doesn't have to vote on anything. the schools partake on a voluntary basis. they can leaves the NCAA any time they want. the power five can simply flip and middle finger and walk away.

This is going to be a tug a war between OSU, Texas, USC and Alabama. Each of these teams owns their conference and each one of them are going to want to do it their way.

It's only gonna create more committees and more structures within each of the power 5 that relate to a super conference official. It seems to me that the NCAA wants out of the politics, and they are telling the big schools to do what you want. So basically, the power 5 can govern themselves completely now without the consent of the NCAA. This is going to get very interesting in the next few years lol.
