Students, it's that time of the year again. The highly anticipated 2014 football
season is quickly approaching, and the team needs your support in Davis Wade
Stadium this season.

This year, the Athletic Department has partnered with the Student Association to
launch an all new online student ticketing program to make purchasing your
season football tickets as easy as possible. Tickets will cost $50 and will be
available for purchase via HailState.com/studenttickets.

Tickets will go on sale on AUGUST 20th at 8:00 a.m. for the general student
population. For students who are Hail State Rewards members, you will be able to
purchase tickets two days in advance, beginning AUGUST 18th at 8:00 a.m.

To take advantage of the early purchasing period, any student can join Hail
State Rewards for free in advance of the on-sale date by visiting
HailState.com/rewards. The deadline to register for HSR is Noon on August 15th.
Those who register after that date will have to wait until August 20th to
purchase tickets.

In addition, this year a limited number of student guest tickets will be
available for purchase for each game. Once you click to purchase your season
tickets on HailState.com/studenttickets, you will then be directed to activate
your official Dog Tag account. This will be the portal through which you
purchase your football season tickets each year, transfer tickets to other
students, or purchase guest tickets.

Ticketing method, transferring tickets, and guest tickets

TICKETING METHOD - Once purchased, tickets will be activated on your MSU student
ID card for use in entering Davis Wade Stadium. Paper tickets will not be used
for general student season tickets.

TRANSFERRING A TICKET - If you are unable to attend a specific game, you will be
able to transfer your ticket to another student using the online ticketing
system. Tickets can be sent to any other student simply by entering their
netID@msstate.edu email address in the ticket advance system within your Dog Tag
account. There will be a $2 fee to transfer associated with each ticketing
transfer.

Once a ticket has been transferred, the student who received the ticket will
receive an email notification and will be able to print out a paper ticket for
use in entering Davis Wade Stadium - a student's MSU ID will need to be
presented at the entry gate in addition to the paper ticket.

GUEST TICKETS - For the first time this season, guest tickets will be offered
for each home game. These will be general admission student section tickets, but
will need to be printed out for use at the entry gates. The quantity available
for each game will vary based upon expected student attendance. The quantity
available will be announced prior to the on-sale date/time.

Guest tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. on the Monday prior to each game and can
be purchased by logging in to your Dog Tag account. Guest tickets must be
purchased using a credit card. Price will vary for each game and are as follows:
UAB & UT Martin $30, Arkansas & Vanderbilt $50, Southern Miss $55, Texas A&M &
Auburn $75.

That is right. Just like every other sport.

It is about the same price as it was back in 2007. I think we bought 2 guest tickets to the egg bowl for 65 each that year. You pretty much pay typical face value for the guest. Why would they want a ton of students bringing people into an already crowded section.

For the auburn game lol at Strickland. Guest tickets are for
