I recently mentioned to my dad about wanting to buy a new auto shotgun. He told me to come by the house and he could fix me up. This is a Remington Model-1100 that my grandfather used for many years and my dad later used it for years. He hasn't really shot it much in a while and it has just been sitting in the safe, so he offered it to me. I absolutely love these 1100's and from what I gathered from the serial # it was made in '79. It's not super old, but has a lot of history in my family. Can't wait to get out and bust a few doves with it.

Hard to beat the 'ol tried and true 1100. Especially with a nice family history behind it like that.

My dad has one in a 20 gauge and it is by far my favorite shotgun to shoot.

I also have a 1100 12 gauge left hand with 21" skeet barrel. they are hard to beat and just keep shooting.
