Not that it matters but apparently we jumped to #8 on scout. So, over night, our incoming class got that much faster and stronger. These guys are grinders already.

24/7 has us dropping 2 spots to 14th ... no new commits so maybe scout was updating our current commits ... scout usually lags behind a little but 8th doesn't make a lot of sense to me

Some guy on Genespage was complaining about how quickly they would rate a guy that commits to Ole Miss compared to a guy that commits to us. And rightfully so. If you're going to rank people, do it right.

There was a long thread over there calling out Scott Kennedy for scout who I assume is in charge of ranking these players. He gave out a lot of BS about how hard it is to rank everyone and whine, whine, blah, blah, blah.

247 also announced bumps for a couple of our guys a whole back but they have yet to be changed on the player profiles. Not sure how difficult it is to log in and adjust a number, but apparently it requires expertise.

Something to keep in mind is that we've at least five commits who could easily jump to 4 stars on 24/7 with a good senior season, one who will probably jump to 5 (Peters), and two who may see a huge jump if they're reclassified to their college positions (Green, Moon). If that happens, I can't wait to hear the excuses of the OM fans currently saying our class is only highly rated because of numbers.

My co-worker will probably tell me that recruiting rankings are overrated and use Ole Miss as an example after they go 6-6 this year.
